St. Pauli is proud to run a balanced operational budget and to be able to assist local charities as well. The congregation, however, gladly accepts donations to two funds that enhance the service that St. Pauli provides to its members and local community.

Memorial Fund

Monetary gifts made to this fund may be designated to honor or remember an individual or group of individuals. Monies from this fund have, in the past, purchased hymnals, altar pieces, a stained glass window, and other specialty items. Memorial funds may also be donated for designated events or charitable services.

Cemetery Fund

Care and maintenance of the St. Pauli Cemetery is funded by purchases of plots as well as designated memorial gifts. However, the cemetery fund is generally insufficient to meet the annual maintenance needs and monies are often taken from congregational funds to make up the difference. For more than one hundred years, St. Pauli has provided plots and maintenance to its church members and their families free of charge. Therefore, St. Pauli gratefully accepts any donations to its cemetery fund by family descendants or people interested in preservation of historic prairie cemeteries.
