14 November 1930
St. Pauli congregation held its annual meeting in the Church on Nov 14,
1930.
The meeting was opened by the chairman Pastor M. L. Dahle with hymn song,
reading from the Bible and prayer.
The report of the secretary was read and accepted as it was read. The
report of the treasurer was read and accepted as it was read.
Pastor Dahle reported that he had, during the course of the year, held
23 divine services, 2 Holy Communions, 2 funerals and that there had been
conducted six weeks of religion school.

It was proposed and supported that the trustees shall apply to the county
commissioners to have a bridge built to the graveyard. Accepted.

11 November 1931
St. Pauli congregation held its annual meeting in the Church on Nov 11,
1931.
The meeting was opened by the chairman Pastor M. L. Dahle with reading
from the Bible and prayer. The report of the secretary was read and accepted
as it was read. The report of the treasurer was read and accepted as it
was read.
Pastor M. L. Dahle reported that he had, during the year, held 24 divine
services, 2 Holy Communions and that the attendance at the services had
been acceptable, and that there had been held five weeks of religion school.
And that there were three families who wished to be accepted in the congregation.
Namely Ed Huskie and wife, Elias
Melvie and wife and children, Andrew Arne and wife and children. They
were unanimously received.

St. Pauli congregation held its annual meeting in the Church on Nov 17,
1932.
The meeting was opened by the chairman Pastor Dahle with reading from
the Bible and hymn song. The report of the secretary was read and accepted
as it was read. The report of the treasurer was read and accepted as it
was read.
Pastor Dahle reported that he had, during the year, held 19 divine services,
2 Holy Communions, 2 funerals, and that he had taught a confirmation class.
And that the religion school decided upon had been held. And that the
Youths’ Club had held a number of meetings. And the attendance at
the divine services had been middling.

It was proposed and supported that the finances of the congregation should
be discussed. Accepted.
Proposed and supported that the congregation should pay Pastor M. L. Dahle
$325 as annual salary. Accepted.

13 November 1933
St. Pauli congregation held its annual meeting in the Church on Nov 16,
1933.
The meeting was opened by Pastor M. L. Dahle with hymn song and reading
from the Bible. The report of the secretary was read and accepted as it
was read. The report of the treasurer was read and accepted as it was
read.
Pastor M. L. Dahle reported that, during the year, he had held 22 divine
services, 10 English and 12 Norwegian. The attendance to these had been
rather middling. Could have been better, in particular the Norwegian ones.
He had attended the meetings of the women’s club with the exception
of one. He had taught a confirmation class. Some home visits and visits
to the ailing, according to opportunity.
The congregation has paid what it owed to the parish. Chairman Aastad
sent a special thank you to the congregation. There was held one month
of religion school. The Luther League had held one meeting.

1934.
The meeting was opened by chairman Pastor M. L. Dahle with hymn song and
reading from the Bible. The report of the secretary was read and accepted
as it was read. The report of the treasurer was read and accepted as it
was read. Pastor Dahle reported that he, during the year, had held 19
divine services and attended most of the meetings of the women’s
club, and taught a confirmation class, and that he had attended most of
the meetings of the youths’ club. There had been held one month
of religion school and the work had been moderate.
St. Pauli congregation had paid its total part to the budget. It was proposed
and supported that the congregation shall instruct the trustees to find
out what it will cost to repair the basement.

and then.

Pastor M. L. Dahle declared the meeting opened in the church, and it was
continued at Martin
Finstad’s house with prayer and hymn song. Pastor Dahle reported
that, during the year, he had held 24 divine services and that he had
had the pleasure to teach one confirmation class. And the religion school
was held as usual.
The youths’ club had worked with progress and that the congregation
had paid most of the budget.

18, 1937.
The meeting was opened by Pastor M. L. Dahle with hymn song and reading
from the Scriptures. The report of the secretary was read and accepted
as it was read. The report of the treasurer was read and accepted as it
was read.
Pastor Dahle reported that, during the year, he had held 23 divine services.
Attendance had been fairly good and the Luther League had done a particularly
good job.
The Sunday school had done good work and the congregation owes its gratitude
to Mrs.
Carl Finstad for this work. He had attended all the meetings of the
women’s club except one.

1938.
The meeting was opened by Pastor M. L. Dahle with hymn song and reading
from the Scriptures. The report of the secretary was read and accepted
as it was read. The report of the treasurer was read and accepted as it
was read.
Pastor M. L. Dahle reported that he, during the course of the year, had
held 22 divine services and that he had taught a confirmation class and
that he had visited the ailing as often as possible.
It was proposed and supported to receive Selmer
Urdahl with family and Willie Gilbertson with family as members of
the congregation. Unanimously accepted.

It was proposed and supported to pay Iver
Iverson $3.00 a year to take care of the cemetery. It was proposed
to change the report of the congregation to the English language.

29 July 1938: letter
To Whom it May Concern:
That I, William Gilbertson as First Party and Olaf
Snetting, Joe
Torstveit, Emil
Thune, and H.
Finstad acting as building committee for St. Pauli Lutheran Church.
That First Party agrees to rebuild church basement. That first Party to
furnish all material.
Construction to be as follows. Base to be 2 ft wide and one foot deep.
Reinforced with steel not less than three rods, and walls to be 10 inches
and 3 tie in wall lengthways, and 2 tie rods between each, rounded up
and down.
Old concrete slabs to be placed on top of old floor and a new concrete
floor placed on top of same, top of floor to be trowelled to a smooth
finish. Size of windows to be agreed on later, if new windows are to be
used, congregation to furnish same.
work to be done in workmanship manner, a mixture of not less than one
part of cement to six parts of gravel. New steps and platforms also to
be erected from concrete and filled as far as possible with slabs, and
railing replaced.
First Party to furnish wind insurance for period of construction.
For said job, the congregation agrees to pay First Party the sum of Eight
Hundred dollars. Four Hundred dollars of same to advance for materials.

16 November 1939
The St. Pauli Congregation held its annual business meeting in the church
parlors, Nov. 16, 1939. The meeting was called to order by Rev. Dahle
and opened with scripture reading and prayer.
The following business was transacted:
Motion was made and accepted that the church business be transacted in
the English language instead of the Norse. The Secretary’s report
was read and accepted as read. The Treasurer’s report was read and
accepted as read.
Rev. Dahle reported that in the course of the year he had conducted 27
services, 8 of which were held in the Norse language; that he had read
with a class of 13 Confirmants 70 semester hours; conducted 5 adult and
6 infant baptisms, also 1 funeral; that he had made 18 sick calls and
26 house visits. A term of parochial school was also held.
