St. Pauli Cemetery

The St. Pauli Cemetery is located a mile and a half west of the church. Originally, the congregation had planned on building the church next to the cemetery, but in 1899 Hans Amundson donated one and one-half acres of land to the congregation on the southeast corner of Section 25. This new building site was not only higher and drier, but was at a cross-road intersection that made the church more accessible and visible in the neighborhood.
